Course Description

This full in-class learning (face to face) Diploma Program is designed to deliver in-depth knowledge and skills training to learners wanting to pursue a focused professional career track in the culinary industry. TEACA’s flagship course, painstakingly developed to highlight a superior learner-centered European Curriculum, features class leading academic modules not found in similar culinary programs and courses in the Philippines. Built upon the principle that basic theories and skills must first be developed prior to more complex ones, our curriculum adapts a systematic progression of topics that will immerse learners in all aspects of foundational, intermediate and advance level learning.

 Where is the school located? Do you have ample parking spaces for students?

The school is located at the 3/F of Almanza Square Building, 490 Alabang Zapote Road, Las Pinas City. We have parking facilities exclusively for students located across the building.

 

What is the difference between a Certificate and Diploma course?

Certificate courses are designed to cover the fundamental aspects of culinary and baking & pastry arts. These courses are intended for a broad range of learners wanting to pursue career, entrepreneurial and/or personal development tracks. Diploma courses are comparable to an Associate Degree. In-depth and extremely detailed, these courses cover the full spectrum of fundamental, Intermediate and advance level academic training modules and are intended for serious learners wanting to pursue a focused professional career track in the culinary industry.

 

What sets TEACA’s Diploma Course apart from the other culinary schools?

      1.      Our Diploma Course features an extensive European curriculum with unique subjects like Palate Development and Taste Perception, Flavor Profiling, The Art of Charcuterie, Wine Appreciation, Food and Wine Pairing, Restaurant Simulations and the likes which are NOT found in similar culinary Diploma programs offered in the Philippines.

What are the class schedules for the Diploma Course?

Diploma Course class schedules are every Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays from 7am to 12nn or 2pm to 7pm.   

 

What are the program Inclusions?

Tuition fee includes 3 sets of uniform (Chef’s Coat, Trousers, Bistro Apron, Skull Cap), Personalized Knife Kit (Chef’s Knife, Paring Knife, Fillet Knife and Honing Steel) and a Cooper Digital Thermometer.

 

What are the program exclusions?

The following are NOT included in your tuition fees; ServSafe Food Protection Manager Licensure Examination (Php 5,500), Red Cross BLS Certification (Php 3,000), Gastronomy Tours and Ingredients for Restaurant Simulations and Signature Cuisine Class.

 

Do you have Installment options?

Yes. Upon acceptance of your application, only 25% is required to reserve a slot. Balance is payable in 8 monthly installments (0% Interest) of only Php 32,625 per month for 8 months beginning at the end of the first month. Payments can be made via cash, credit cards, cheque, GCash, and bank transfers.

 

Does the Diploma Course include On-the-Job Training opportunities?

Yes. Imbedded into our curriculum is an extensive 960-hour Stagiaire program in partnership with the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines. This exclusive affiliation will enable learners to practice their newly acquired knowledge and skills in an auxiliary training platform that will nurture and hone aptitude and talent in an immersive real-world training environment. 

 

Does the Diploma Course provide opportunities for International Paid Internships (IPI)?

Yes. TEACA is in partnership with Career Opportunities Consulting International Corporation, one of the country’s most respected U.S. Internship agencies. This partnership will provide qualified students the unique opportunity to travel and work in some of the best hotels, restaurants and resorts in the United States of America with a stipend of up to USD$ 32 per hour.

 

Does TEACA provide employment assistance after graduation?

Yes. With TEACA’s broad network of partners like the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines and Human Development Organization (HDO), the school can provide local and overseas employment assistance in both land based and sea based career opportunities. Currently we have already assisted students who are now employed with notable hotels, restaurants and vessels under Holand America Lines and Carnival Cruises.
