French Master Chef Jean-Pierre (JP) Migné was born in the most Atlantic of France’s regions, Brittany. Learning the craft of culinary arts directly from the kitchens of famed restaurants all over France,  Chef JP has mastered French regional cuisine with dedication and fiery passion. A well-travelled culinarian, Chef JP has since then traveled to New Celadonia, Gabon and Togo of West Africa, UAE and Kuwait of the Middle East, and India, Indonesia, China, and the Philippines of Asia, serving as Executive Chef for notable international hotel chains like Sofitel, Sheraton, Peninsula, Meridien, and Intercontinental.

He has also served as the Executive Chef for Hotel Nikko Manila Garden, Diamond Hotel and Century Park Hotel Manila. One of his most notable stints in the Philippines was being appointed by the Malacañang Palace as the Executive Chef for the high-profile 8th Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum, held at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Subic, Zambales, Philippines. Attended by 18 Economic Leaders and Heads of States (and their respective delegations) across Asia, Australia, Canada and the United States, this event had four Philippine cities designated as key venues for the year-long series of meetings: SubicManilaCebu and Davao. Here his daunting task was to take the helm and lead a team to manage the entire food service operations for all meals from breakfast, snacks, dinners and gala parties, a gargantuan feat he masterfully accomplished with abundant praises from guests and peers alike.

Chef JP has also served as Chairman of the Board of Judges for prestigious culinary competitions like The National Food Showdown and Chef’s on Parade and has successfully completed countless of consultancy contracts for distinguished hotels and restaurants across the Asia and the Philippines.
